Pina Bausch – a name that touched the whole artistic world. The legendary choreographer had created not only a new dance style, but a new art form as well – Tanztheater (dance-theater). The 2011 edition of Temps d’Images will celebrate the lifework of the most praised choreographer of the 20^th century. For three days, her masterpieces will be everybody’s focal point. Special guests who had long collaborated with Pina Bausch will share their experiences and expertise, while Pina Bausch’s unique aesthetics will be presented through diverse artistic expressions. Robert Sturm, the artistic director of the Wuppertal Theater and her confident, will share details about her work and his lengthy collaboration with Pina, through photography and video.
