Re:Accumulation

For Nagabczynska the most interesting questions are how a spectator’s perception is changing in the historical context and how artists, whose creations are embedded in the context defined by a previous output of their field, are changing their relations toward creating. Nowadays, with so many medias available and a tendency to constant amplification and improvement, the concept of accumulation seems to bring completely different associations than in the 70’s, when Trisha Brown was working on her first performances based on accumulation. Nagabczynska wants to prove that the past could be an inspiring bottomless source, and not necessarily a limitation.
