The performance constructs a subjective history of the Republic of Moldova that aims to complete and correct the official version of recent history. It is an unwritten history that is not taught in schools, constructed from the perspectives of ordinary people on economic and political changes. The performance brings together on the one hand, a defying representation of the main public historical events, and on the other, the voices of those who seldom, if ever, force their way into history books.

About the artists
David Schwartz is a theater director. He lives and works in Bucharest. He works on artistic projects that promote a critical analysis of post-socialist „transition” and he approaches liberating perspectives over local history. He is co-founder of Political Theater Platform and is a member of MACAZ – Teatru Bar Coop collective.
