Through the project Films on the Market we launch a proposal to promote healthy eating and consumption habits for producers and consumers alike, right on the spot where we go to procure our food – in the markets. Project in partnership with the City of Cluj-Napoca, Department of Markets and Halls.

The film Farmer exchanges follows the adventure of French and Romanian small-scale farmers who ventured, by travelling to each other’s countries, to exchange around their practices and activities: milking their cows, making cheese, harvesting their hay, processing the harvest, taking care of the sheep. They discover or recognize certain gestures, familiar or different relationships to life and ways of work. They also express surprise at another aspect that their trade they have in common: the European Common Agricultural Policy and its subsidies.
