Chantiers: Carmen Coțofană & Maria Drăghici

Calendar

Tuesday 10/11/2009 from 19:00 to 20:00

Research project and cartography of the public space through different expression means – video, photo, dance, interview, sound. The implication of the choreographer/dancer as ”character” in this public space is essential for creating a contract between the social-general plan and the individual-intimate one. Through this contrast (group of people/individual) we want to realise the cartography of the space using the intimate space as a landmark and generator. The main point is realizing this material is the research and the experimentation of some contextual and performative situations proposed by the choreographer and the visual artist in a public space. This collaboration between the video proposal and the choreographic implication will be the starting point in building a dance performance which will contain the description of the daily life (video image) in counterpoint with the exposure of a personal history marked by the informational flux (choreographer/dancer).
