Temps d’Images 2011 Reflect
Available – premiere
Calendar
Available is an incubator of choreographic practices and investigates both the dialogue and the exchange in the form of performance. Three choreographers, three cities, and three different cultural contexts (Bucharest, Amsterdam, and New York) intersect in a show that questions the concept of co-authorship as framed by contemporary dance performance. The project seeks to answer questions like “Who is the creator of the piece – the author of the original idea, the one that further developed the concept and implemented it or its collaborators who, through feedback, transformed and put together the material?” and “To what degree could an idea be available in order to be used and transformed by the other?”
