Temps d’Images 2011 Reflect
(anti)aging
Erasing any trace of reasonableness in the construction of the contemporary performance, placing value judgments for the benefit of amusement and savoring pleasure, Dan and Dancs propose the creative sanatorium format, aiming for delight, relaxation, recovery, spare and preservation for the future. Psychic comfort, vitality and voluptuousness emerge out of this innovative choreographic work, which brings a long awaited breath of fresh air within the local artistic landscape, offering an alternative to the XY supremacy.
“The two senior artists approach with nonchalance dance and movement, beyond aesthetic trends, issues and topics related to contemporary dance, beyond social-political themes, beyond a rational discourse, conceptual packages analytical and endless explanations, descriptions and justifications.” (extract from 2041 chronicles)
