Váróterem Projekt
Established in 2009, Váróterem Projekt has as its main activity the production of theater shows, with focus on problems encountered in today’s society, also on the desire to renew the theatrical language by creating a personal style. Váróterem Projekt has created 18 shows, the most important being: Advertego (d: Botos Bálint), a performance awarded at FNTi in 2014; Occupy Yourself (d: Cosmin Matei), approaching the theme of addiction and being awarded at the Butterfly Effect festival, Galati, and receiving the jury’s prize at Bucharest Fringe. Reacting Chernobyl approaches the events of the 1986 nuclear disaster, based on the books by Svetlana Aleksievich and Wladimir Tchertkoff. The show is the ensemble’s second collaboration with director Cosmin Matei and dramaturge Raluca Sas Marinescu.
