Eric Minh Cuong Castaing Cartoon – an animation movie designer — discovers hip-hop in 1997 and dances in a variety of companies while also developing his graphic designer career. He gets introduced to contemporary dance by one of Saburo Teshigawara’s and Win Vandekeybus’ interpreters – Juha Marsalo – and to Buto dance by Gozei Zatsu and Carlotta Ikeda. In 2007, he creates the company Shonen.
