Alexandre Castres

Alexandre Castres studied dance and theatre at the Conservatoire de Nantes and la Rochelle in France. He worked with choreographers such as Claude Brumachon and Bouvier/Obadia or Wim Wandekeybus. Since 2001 he was a dancer with Pina Bausch in Wuppertal until 2007, where he continued intensively his own choreographic work and proposed his successful solo Monsieur Zéro. With Stephanie Thiersch he did a research workshop in Finland and was co-choreographer for a piece created for dancers and musicians in Togo, Africa in 2007.
